It blows my mind that Alabama fans, a group that claims to be as passionate as any in the country, just can't understand how LSU fans would be upset at how the whole thing went down.

I think we HAVE proven to be as passionate as any fan-base. Look at how we pack out spring practice. We don't claim to be passionate. We do what fans can do to show our support... buy tickets, GO to games, yell... buy the billions of shirts.

It's asinine how much judgement gets poured on any coach for a change of course. It is life meeting business. The people that don't get that are chock full of their own myopic mental constructions.

This is the real world. Hard to argue that it was a bad choice.

Anyone that says they'd do differently than he did needs to seriously consider examining themselves for honesty. It really is irrational to think poorly of a man doing what's best for his life and his children and grandchildren's futures.

Again, he is free to do what he wants to do, but don't act like we're the ones with the problem when we react the way we do. You know how it's going to be when you make that decision. You're burning a bridge when you make that decision. That's fine if that's what you want to do, but own it and just accept that this is the way it is.

Yeah Saban's family was really going to end up in the welfare line if he didn't go to Alabama.
