This is a reason why I cann't see UNC ever coming to the SEC: Unless it's changed, a major donor/landowner who gave the land for the stadium to the school had it put in the sales contract that UNC can never have the stadium taller than the surrounding trees. While it makes for a beautiful setting, one of the nicest I've ever seen, that is a killer when it comes to increasing football revenue, as the stadium will always be O.Miss'ish. Cann't see the Noles being allowed to come because of the gators thumbs down vote.

Yeah, A&M would vote in the thumbs-down group for a Florida State or Clemson bid because we want equal treatment if there is ever a blOwU or burnt-orange butthurt bid.

that stadium was built in 1927.

If it was really that big an issue they could simply use eminent domain.

It seats 63,000 so its not like its small for a school that focuses on basketball.

I wish the SEC hadn't expanded beyond 12 teams. Nothing against TAMU or Mizzou, I just liked things the way they were.

I sometimes still miss the unbridled hate from the old SWC but the days of purely regional conferences being successful are over.
