So. Hired a guy to be offensive coordinator who will not be coordinating the offense? I just don't like it. What sort of water will this kid actually carry amongst staff and players. I understand Gus will be running the show and so will everyone else who is supposed to be answering to this guy.

Why are people reacting negatively to this? This is Malzahn's offense, he'll be calling all of the shots. The OC will sit up in the box and call out adjustments and the like that he sees. Malzahn will be overseeing the hiring of the rest of the offensive staff.
