The DL haul is arguably the strength of a very strong 2013 class.
DT, not so much DE, and DT's are one of the hardest if not the hardest position to project.
A couple examples.
LSU
5* DT- Al Woods (barely even started his senior season)
5* DT-Chris Davenport (has yet to see the field)
4* DT-Joseph Barksdale (became a damn fine OT)
Miami-5* DT, one of the top 10 players in the country out of Northwestern HS Marcus Fortson had an okay freshman season and never had a season better.
Florida-5* Torrey Davis didn't get to play much, gets kicked off the team.
5* DT Gary Brown kicked off team
Florida St.-5* DT Jacobbi McDaniel
Michigan-5* DT William Campbell isn't even projected in the top 20 DT's in this years draft as he is finishing up his senior season at UM.
Also, look at Taylor Bible at UT, guy is just too fat to play, was also a 4*.
Plenty of examples throughout CFB. Expect a fair portion of those guys to either not pan out or find their way some where else one way or another. Just expect it so you won't be disappointed if it does happen because it usually does. Thats what happens when you recruit good talent, there are plenty of risks.
See Hoza Scott, he already looks like a behavioral risk. Great player no doubt, plenty of questions.

Why are you arguing the law of averages as a gambit to trivialize A&M's DL class?
Of course everything is speculative. Of course guys may not pan out.
So what?
As evinced by your examples--notwithstanding your cherry picking--that reality isn't exclusive to Texas A&M.
Recruiting isn't a science--you do the best you can with what you've got. We're all playing that game.
I just have no idea why you think this is relevant to whether A&M's DL class is the strength of the entire 2013 class. It's tough to project--we know. So you index your confidence to account for the risk. Either way, we're all dealing with the same issues.

Johnny Football got popped for petty theft his senior year in high school.
Behavioral risks are an inherent, invariable part of recruiting for every school.
