The Myth of Bama Favoritism

Everyone points to Alabama's schedule this year as some sign of favoritism.
That's fascinating, considering the 2009 and 2010 years and what the Tide went through.
In 2009 Alabama, going undefeated, played 8 SEC teams. Of those 8, 7 had winning records and went on to Bowl Games. They also opened with Va Tech (a 10 win team), had to beat an undefeated Florida in the SECCG, and then beat an undefeated Texas in the Rose Bowl
In 2010, Alabama had to play 6 SEC squads who had a week off prior to playing them. That included drawing Florida and South Carolina from the East, as well as bowl-bound Tennessee (teams 1, 2 and T3 in the SEC East).
In 2011, after having played South Carolina twice, USCe rotated off the schedule and Vandy rotated on. Florida was in the second game of their swing against the Tide. Florida under achieved that year, winning only 7 overall games.
In 2012, Florida rotated off. Florida, of course, has a break out season. SEC officials, in an AMAZING amount of psychic power, accurately predicts this will happen when they first drew up the rotational schedule years ago.
The SEC, while making the 2012 schedule, moves Vandy off of Alabama's schedule for Missouri (an 8-5 team from the previous year, who had beaten Texas A&M, and narrowly lost by 1 score three times - to ASU, highly ranked KSU, and RG3 led Baylor). Once again, kudos to the SEC for being able to see that this team that was just shy of winning 11 games the previous year would have a worse record than Vanderbilt.
So basically it boils down to this:
Alabama has 6 West opponents (6 of 8 SEC games)
Tennessee as a permanent opponent (established in 1992, during a very good run for Tennessee)
Rotates 1 SEC East Team (previously 2 teams)
How dare you Alabama! How dare you use your powers to foresee the future for such a trivial thing as football scheduling instead of solving the world's problems!
For SHAME!

LOL Why even bring this up? Did you not lose your first game (and undefeated season) to the first of those 6 teams? Laziest and lamest excuse ever.

Can we not stoop to their level please? They're being crazy and we don't have to prove shite to them. We have a National Championship game coming up. Who cares about crazy idiotic theories some jerkoffs on the internet come up with? They're not gonna admit that they're crazy anyway. They're still gonna hate Alabama. Just let it go.

There is no need to try and explain the greatest program of all time. We are Alabama and all of the haters will never be what the Tide has been forever and always will be.
Even when we are down we are the greatest of all time.
We are Alabama.
Even when we are down we are the greatest of all time.
We are Alabama.

Damn will this subject ever die?
And honestly I wish we had Florida, UGA, and USCe on our schedule. I want to bee more games like the one we just had vs. UGA. i want to see us play the best and see games that are hard fought. Dont really care to see us play a weak schedule. I still dont know why we had to drop UGA for next year.

If you understand math and statistics you certainly see a bias in the number of penalties called.
The scheduling of "traditional rivals" and Kentucky to pad the Tide's schedule needs to end.

And yet.........he's right.
Those are the facts (other than the psychic jab). Anyone who wants to be anally sore over the fact that we are benefiting from a coincidence, feel free. You can also complain about how some people make more money than you and last time you went out to eat, they gave you the smaller steak. Life can be SO unfair.

I love that the idea of "Just win your games and it won't matter" never even fricking occurs to them.
This is the first thing Bama fans, and most other fans, would say.
Such pansies.

Really?
9-6.

2012 and 2013 are not rotational schedules - they are both one offs that were drawn up just for that year. That's how Kentucky got on for the single game next year. Rotational schedules start again in 2014.

You are correct. Jerkoffs gon' jerkoff.

If it wasn't for 3rd and Mexican you guys might have something to post other than that meaningless 9-6 score.

Tl;dr
If you don't think Alabama doesn't have favoritism than look at who creates schedules at the SEC head office. Alabama literally feeds graduates into that place and it shows. Not to mention the refs.
How about that ref watching ole fat boy trying to blow Murray's head off and the ref watching the whole thing. That was pretty bad, is fat boy even suspended? Probably not.
