It really was a great game to watch.
A tribute to the on field performance by both schools. And a tribute to the conference as a whole.
And today, the perennial 3rd place SEC West team just hired away the coach of the 3-peat champs of the Big Ten.
Tennessee about to hire away the Big East champ's head coach.

SECCG is considered post-season game. No?

It was a good game...wish they would have had some more defense in it. ND is licking their chops.

Yes, but it coincides with other conferences regular season.

I enjoyed watching the game and it was back and forth a lot. Hard hitting and a BCS title match hanging in the balance.

The Bama / ND game could very well break the record for the most watched College Football game in history, whatever game that was. Stands a very good chance.

This bodes well for the playoffs of the future.

It will be the biggest TV event in history. Bigger than any Super Bowl or Olympics.

Regular season doesn't usually include unscheduled championship games.

I don't get how they know for sure how many people watch a game..
How could they know if 10 or 40 people are in a bar?
How would they know if I had 15 people over to watch the game from my house?
I'm sure they have a formula that is somewhat accurate, I just don't get how they could ever know how many people truly watched a game.

The last 20 seconds brought the game from an instant classic (regardless of outcome) to a "meh" forgettable.
3 attempts at the endzone.. and whether UGA scored or Bama stood strong.. it would have been the best SECCG of the last decade.

Agree. Still a great game, but the finish didn't reflect the rest of the game.
If UGA scores, or get's a few attempts at the endzone at the end, then it's one of the greatest games of all time.
