That last word there is kinda key. Unnecessary. No need to hit a QB or any player like that. I guarantee if they would have hit AJM like that flags would have come out. No question.

It's easy for us to call it unnecessary. We know that the ball carrier was tackled immediately after Dial's block therefore Murray would not have been involved in the tackle. Dial did not and could not have known this. The play was live and he has to assume that the ball carrier will make someone miss which would have put Murray very much in play to make the tackle.
