if they spiked it, and the same play happens, time still runs out. not Richt's fault. they just ran out of time.

So, it was Bama's good play rather than Georgia's screw-up, huh? Frickin' delusional Gumps.

If you spike the ball and have time to think about it and THEN do that bullshite, you ought to be run out of a job.

What exactly was wrong with the play? It was a back shoulder pass to the guy in the endzone? What are you supposed to run?

I thought Murray did quite well. He took the illegal shot & kept on. He also was signaling to spike it at the end. He must've been been told otherwise by the coaches.

maybe not getting raped for 300+ yards on the ground might have helped too

Absolutely, they got torched on the ground. In my opinion, the best overall team won the game. AJ was clearly the better QB. Murray underthrew several deep balls that should have gone for TDs.

Bama was pretty steady. UGA was streaky.

Still, the clock management by UGA was terrible. Poor decisions. BUT, best team won. Will be pulling for you guys though.

They needed time to settle down.

Overload one side and roll that pocket. If no one open in the back then by 4th step the ball is zipped out of the endzone. Line up and run another play.

Whether you like that call or not, the fact is they could have spiked the ball with at least 13 seconds left. By doing it the way they did, the ball wasn't snapped until 10 seconds showed.
