judging by the number of non-Bama fans pulling for them to lose the natty this year...the meltdown is going to be epic. when they win it. again.

Don't care!! Despise both teams, but all of the media outlets will definitely be sporting a chubby for the next several weeks.

No I'm pretty sure Boise State was the most overrated program in the last 20 years.

Notre Dame actually has quality competition that they can't blow out 60-3 every week.

I hate to say it but go Irish. I hate both programs with all my heart. But Bama winning another NC hurts us more than ND. Their fans need to be brought back down to earth.

I'm at the point where I don't give a shite with who wins. I just want a good game.

Yes absolutely rooting for ND and hoping some drunken Irish priest teabags a comatose Gump afterwards.

The SEC has lost a national title game before, in particularly embarassing fashion....

Bowl Alliance National Title Game

Undefeated 12-0 Florida - 24
Nebraska - 62

The SEC's streak won't run forever. Heck, even if the SEC wins the title every other year that's still amazing. There are 5 major conferences and the SEC has 50% of the BCS crowns, a fair share would be 20%.

Notre Dame winning this year would say nothing about SEC. Their still the conference most likely to win it, year in and year out.

One game will not erase a decade of domination, so relax and cheer for whoever you want.

Yes, I do want ND to break the streak. But I also rooted for Oregon and Texas and whoever Fla played the second time. I can't pull for Ohio State as the in-laws would never ever let it die.

Thank you for your support. Alabama won't let the SEC down. However, the SEC "ND fans" need to get a grip. Alabama will beat the Irish like a drum. When the cascade of SEC! SEC!! SEC!!! starts up and rains down on Notre Dame in Miami, we can all be proud. The SEC is the best in the land.

@ Hater Bait

I am fully representative of your sig line. But I don't expect any of you to root for LSU in a similar circumstance even though many do.

And i have the conveniently hypocritical position of rooting against the SEC in these games and then basking in the hate of my non-SEC friends and coworkers when the SEC wins.

There's a difference of it being an SEC streak and a Saban streak. Even the blind can see this.

It isn't a Saban thing....With a little help from our friends, it's a Florida, LSU, Alabama and Auburn streak. If those teams played in a lame conference, National championships would not happen. SEC teams play the best week in and week out.
