I agree 100%, i'll be more than happy where ever we end up. Going into the season I thought we had no shot at a bowl game.
On the BBVA, since Pitt won, we will match up against a big east team (Pitt or Syracuse) if we go there, and not bowling green like some were predicting.

For what its worth:
SB nation is saying that michigan will be in the Gator Bowl. If they dont want a 2011 rematch, Vandy would be the pick form the SEC.
It'll be interesting to see what happens if the Music City Bowl has to chose between Ole Miss and State.

Hopefully with those scenarios we will end up in tMCB

Yeah hopefully so. Here's to the best we will know tonight.

It's looking like we will play Syracuse in the Compass Bowl. Wouldn't be a bad game.

I know I saw that too just hoping to the bitter end that we some how get pulled out of tCompass and the mouthbreathers are sent down there instead

do yall think the BBVA compass bowl will draw a bunch of fans?

Its on a saturday and Birmingham isnt a bad drive from Oxford, Memphis, and Jackson so I think we would have a good turnout. Not as big if we got Music City, but the turnout will still be good I think.

When will we know for sure where we are going? Later today I guess?

Northwestern is going to Gator which means that MSU is as well which puts Vandy in MCB without much debate. Compass for sure now

Where are you seeing this?

B1G released already who they have going where. Since Northwestern and Vandy have already played this season, they will probably take state. MCB will then chose Vandy and keep them at home for the bowl game. This leaves us going to the BBVA bowl.

shite. Oh well, just glad to be here.

Nothing set in stone for the SEC yet, but the picture is starting to get more clear. Only "game changer" left would be if NUI makes a BCS bowl, knocking Oklahoma to the Cotton Bowl. With OK going there, maybe A&M gets chosen by the Cotton Bowl, which would change every bowl choosing after that.

Pitt just accepted bid to BBVA. Looks like Ole Miss vs. Pitt
Ole Miss isn't final yet, but at this point I'd be shocked if we ended up somewhere else.

I'll take the Compass but I don't have to like it
Sure hope we have a few more wins next so we don't ever have to go to that shithole again

Me too. We're competitive again and we don't have to hear about anymore grinding. Bar is raised next year though. BTW, Bottega is a good restaurant if you're making the trip.

Nope, frick the state of Alabama. I'd rather risk getting shot in Memphis. Mostly due to the fact we have doctors. If you're ever injured in Alabama they just tell you to pray to Saban. frick that.

Vandy to the Music City is official. Oh well. When we are on TV and we have about 45,000 fans in attendance for that game, and the Music City is less than half full and no money is brought into the city......they'll regret that decision. If I was Vandy, I'd be pissed. All that hard work to get 8 wins, and you stay at home.
