My buddy said Neal posted earlier that it's looking like the Compass is a done deal.

I almost don't want to go ...

But for this team I'll subjugate myself to that shithole of a town

Whats most important is the extra practice time. These young guys get more reps.

Regardless, we'll know for sure sunday... and even if it's the BBVA bowl, the extra practices are huge for us.

Is anyone else reporting that the BBVA is a done deal yet though?

I would be utterly surprised if it wasn't. Im not on the committee but it makes sense regardless of who state played

With the games completed thus far today, any updates on where we may be going? I doubt anything new until late tonight or tomorrow, just curious.

I don't know how that would change our situation unless we are gator bound

Exactly... Music City is ACC vs. SEC, why does who wins the B1G championship change anything in regards to that bowl...?

Because if Nebraska won then they would send Wisconsin to the gator bowl, and then the gator bowl might pick Vandy. But if Wisconsin wins then Northwestern will be sent to the gator bowl and Vandy won't be selected because they played northwestern during the regular season.

It looks like Wisconsin is going to win unfortunately though.

Oh ok... Gator could maybe get Michigan though... Michigan is high slotted in conference ranking but Northwestern has the better overall record. Maybe the Outback bowl will take Northwestern for their record.

It doesn't matter what bowl we get in to. Nobody can be upset over it. We are playing in one and that is what counts, for this season. Next season.....yeah, we can probably complain about being in a certain bowl.

Compass Bowl is a lot better than sitting at home with a losing record.
