He did give us hell a few years. But I wish him the best of luck. I read where Michael Bennett said Marcus contacted him after he tore his ACL and wished him a speedy recovery. Just a great talent and a better young man.

What y'all don't understand is that it is the system that beat y'all. Lattimore was an exceptional back, but we beat you with the system. He dominated y'all the first couple of meetings, didn't have amazing stats the 3rd, but even when he was out with injury, we were still winning games (10-1).
If it's true, I hope he gets paid well, but it's not just Lattimore, we outplayed y'all in every position for this year's matchup. Now you guys are out recruiting us, as always, so it's got to be UGA is just being out coached.

I really, really hope Lattimore becomes the next McGahee and recovers from a devastating (in his case, two) knee injury to do well in the NFL. Don't blame him for leaving. Some NFL team (Green Bay?) will take a chance on him. I've always respected Lattimore, runs hard, plays hard and is first class all the way.
Carolina's turnaround is more than Lattimore. They've kept South Carolina kids at home; the last great player from that state to leave was AJ Green. Lattimore, Clowney, Gilmore, etc... have all stayed there.
