This, but it'll never happen. Smaller budgets, smaller alumni base, and MS recruits not qualifying are three issues that come to mind for me.

I'm new to the SEC rivalries but in my limited time it seems to me they are content to sit there and hate each other. They don't spend a lot of time worrying about the rest of the world.

If we didn't have all the negative bullshite from the past State would have been kicked out of the SEC by now for being so shitty and us dominating them. We did it to ourselves and now have to share recruits and resources with them, and this state isn't big enough for that.
