I'm not sure I can pinpoint why, but it seems really weird to offer a coach in the same conference as you.

SEC! SEC! SEC!

Before this year, I would have said Hell No also. But I actually am starting to think things are changing. MUBobby made a comment saying you would be shocked to see what the boosters are wiling to pay. Well, you take that, Pinkel on the hotseat....things I never thought I would see. I think things are changing. If you want a good guide on our trajectory, look at Arkansas. Before they came into the SEC our stadium was bigger than theirs, etc. But the SEC Boost over 20 years has gotten them to this point. Give us a few years, I really am starting to think we are about to take Football SERIOUSLY. I mean we just proposed plans to make Faurot bigger than Clemson's and Notre Dame's stadiums. Could you ever have imagined that in the Big XII? Would we do it now? Who knows. But give us a few years. I think we are becoming something we have never experienced in this state before.

I wouldnt give Les more than what Saban makes, but if 5 Million is what it would take to get Andy Reid...pull the trigger.

I'm over the MUBOBBY stuff. Methinks he's either he's full of shite, or his post caused Alden to backtrack. Either way he sucks.

Ok, theoretically speaking. If the funds were available who would you break the bank for? Saban? Stoops? Yost?

I agree on the MUBobby stuff. After he started posting, I noticed he posted DGB and Ramirez news after it was posted on PM. But ignore that for a minute. Focus on the point about facilities especially stadiums. Bigger than ND, bigger than Clemson. Never could have imagined it a few years ago, but I think its showing that we are going to do everything in our immediate power to step our shite up.

I agree. We really do need to parlay these upgrades and perceived enthusiasm of the AD into some wins on the field to keep the casual fan involved as well as the big time donors! We're in the SEC Stinkel, show us next year why you belong as the HC.

Correct. We must keep winning. But everything that the AD and Fans can control...we have shown that we are ready.

Personally I'd rather have Gundy, Briles, Peterson or Patterson than Miles. Anyone can win at LSU. I'd love to see the Hogs spend 27 million on Miles and have nothing to show for it after a few years.

I believe Les declined.
