I was leaning towards 247 cuz it looks modern with the tweet updates and stuff, but hows Hamm?

Hamm is a glorified Troll. Looch is much more connected to the program than anyone else out there.

Looch is the best. If you can deal with the douchebags that post on the Premium board, the content is high quality and worth the money.

Hamm has a better relationship with the recruiting side of it. He's going to get more in depth interviews, and he works those high school kids like a Catholic priest. And the personalities there are much more interesting and not a homogeneous group of cocksuckers like on TexAgs. And he's a bit more reasonable and realistic than TexAgs on where recruits are leaning. Looch is much better connected from the coaching/12th Man side. The content they pump out is unmatched. Whenever someone on a different site makes fun of Looch he gets hyperdefensive and always talk about the content angle. And he's right. Those interviews with Sharp/12th Man might be worth the cost of the subscription. What is really funny is how much Hamm and Looch hate eachother. I think I like Looch more personally because I know him better, but Hamm is still a nice guy.
Rivals is behind the ball and has ostracized too many people in the AD. Tarp is supposedly a nice guy, but I've never met him.
Scout is meh.
Honestly stop being a lolpoor and buy two. TexAgs and 247.

TexAgs for the content.
247 for the recruiting info.
If I only had to choose one, I'd go with TexAgs because of all they offer, but if I was only concerned with recruiting info, I'd go with 247.
I subscribe to both and it's worth every penny.

Very good level headed assessment but I disagree on a few points.

TexAgs has Logan Lee doing most of their recruit interviews and I really enjoy those, Logan seems to connect well with the recruits since he has gone through it and gets some good info. It has taken a step backwards though since Brandon Leone left.

I would probably agree with this though, while the interviews that Logan gets are excellent they are fairly brief in nature so you probably get more depth from 247.

I have to disagree on here as well ... I have been a TA subscriber for a several years and the only major recruiting bust I have ever seen was the LB who was committed but signed with OU, that is probably the only recruiting bust I have seen from Liucci.

Absolutely correct and incredibly annoying. He does the same when his subscribers disagree with him.

Going out of order but it ties into my last comment ... in periods where there is a lot of opinions floating around, the Liucci opinion will almost always take over in the group think and be gospel. I almost canceled my subscription during the coaching search not because of the content, which was/is excellent, but because of the dbag posters whose canned response is "I trust Liucci's opinion over yours", gets incredibly annoying.

Can not be understated, the saga of did Hamm have a job offer from TexAgs and what the offer actually was provided tons of hilarity due to Billy getting hyperdefensive. Although I personally dislike Hamm ever since I found out his goal is to be Texas A&M's version of Geoff Ketchum. No one who wants to model them self after that tool is worth my time.

As a result of the Corey Nelson fiasco, I would say almost 30% of texags users were permabanned within a week of signing day.

I don't think ANYONE saw that coming up until maybe the day before.
I actually wish they would permaban more people ... some idiots just aren't worth reading.

I love Texags but I think 24/7, overall, has MORE recruiting info. But the other content being pumped out by Olin Buchanan, Jerrod Johnson, Hunter Goodwin's segments, etc. are top-shelf.
I'm not the recruiting junkie I used to be, so now I'm Texags only, because its enough for me and usually quite accurate. But 24/7 does a great job of VOLUME in recruiting.

I must say though I despise Gabe Bock...something about him rubs me the wrong way. Ruins about half of TexAgs' content. But they put out so much that even if I don't watch half of it it's still worth the money IMO

I definitely agree to a point, but if you ever meet Hamm ask him about the Floyd Raven saga. He wouldn't be an Ag without Hamm. I think he makes an effort to develop more personal relationships. Its not a big deal really in the grand scheme of info. It is essentially the same.

I hate this and I hate that reasonable dissent is dismissed and massive spin is put in to place. Jim Wilson and Looch are friends. When Jim was spearheading the new coaching search, etc and people on the boards started talking about the "good old boy" network, it was quite apparent the TexAgs stance was to shite all over such ludicrous things. How dare anyone try and connect the dots. And this isn't to bash Jim Wilson. I have met his wife, she is a charming lady, and by all accounts he's doing a great job on the BoR, but the mere charade of placing him in charge, spending who knows how much on a "third party" search committee in tandem, just screamed that a show was being put on. Now, I'm in no way complaining about the results, just don't like that the whole TexAgs machine can smother any reasonable questions.

It's simple. Liucci simply cannot handle anything that doesn't agree with him. He always has to have the last word and cannot just let a thread die off and move on.
He's the equivalent of a senior officer who pulls rank when it becomes obvious to him and everyone around him that he's losing an argument badly when talking with someone who he has date of rank on, but doesn't actually outrank.

Meh. I like the guy. He's not one of my friends by any means, but he's always been nice enough to me in person.

This almost borderline sounds like Hamm was recruiting Raven which would be a violation no?
I will admit I have a bias, I subscribe to TexAgs and fell that they have great content. Haven't met any of the players IRL but just from my TexAgs slant plus what I have seen of Hamm on twitter, the guys seems like a douche.
Yes Liucci is hypersensitive sometimes but it often seems as though Hamm is the one baiting him and trying to pick a fight.

No not at all, but what Ole Miss was doing was very much so.

I mean I just don't have a strong opinion on them either way. I like Looch more, simply because I know him better, but the few times I've met Hamm I've liked him as well. Don't really know about the twitter stuff.

Now this true, but they are competitors. I mean I don't care either way. Hamm directs a lot of shite towards Looch, but who knows? It seems that Looch is extremely political and connected. Hamm doesn't have that. Maybe he is jealous of Looch. Who knows? Again, I dont care either way. I use them for info, their sports opinions are sort of irrelevant to me.
So its all just meh.

The first of several bans on TexAgs. Even after my last ban, I still keep TA strictly for the content, which is second to NONE. But the Premium MB is simply a contest to see who can blow Looch the fastest...
Funny to read, though. And was WAY fun to rile the Looch sheep up before I went too far and got banned under my third username in the past six years.

Hamm used to have quite the history as a Texags poster. Was labeled Mr. 30 seconds after he couldn't last more than half a minute with some broad from Texags. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
