Unfortunately I think that there is too much BS on both ends of the spectrum ... there are those who like to rile up the looch sheep and there are those who are so blinded by their Looch love that they lash out in extreme against anyone who doesn't think the way they do.
It has gotten to the point where half the time I don't read any premium thread that isn't started by staff or at least have a staff icon in it.

I was always interested in discussion - had some great ones. However, the constant circle-jerk there is annoying. I've heard great things about 247 as well, but that is a swear word on TA. Personally, I like places like the rant with interaction from other fan bases.

Looch is just such a tool that I could never do Texags. Texags, as a site on the whole, is embarrassing to our entire university and all those who participate are party to that.

lol, please shut up. half the time he gets onto people they deserve it. I never see anyone prove him wrong when he brings up how they are being an out of line douchebag or are just plain wrong. and the site itself has a ton of content and I actually like what some of the other posters bring to the premium board as well. get over yourself.

When he is sticking to content his stuff is top notch. Most of the tools are the idiots who slobber all over him.
You just sound like someone who got banned and didn't like it.
I could just as easily make the same statement about Hamm that you did about Looch.
And as far as the website goes, the public board is a joke but have you ever actually spent the money to see what is in the Premium or Varsity boards? Very good content and discussion.
Also, the actual design and content of the website is second to none.

TA is a first rate website, and Looch isn't a tool - A&M overall information is superior to all other sites. Looch is well connected and a good source for information. The premium board treat him like Jesus though.
247 has the best recruiting information, but it simply doesn't have the traffic that TA does. Hamm is also a straight shooter, and a lot of TA exes are over there.
Can't go wrong with either one. Rivals sucks, and Scout is easily last.

I've always been a Texags guy for the most part. Played around with a few other sites here and there but Texags always had the best overall board. I really don't care for all the "So and so sux" or "The guy at this site is an a-hole" that happens at the other sites and sometimes at Texags as well. I just don't give a damn about the drama, I just want good info and information.
Texags really separates itself with the extra content, radio show, and connections within the school. It isn't the best for the latest recruiting gossip though, Looch is far more obsessed with getting it right than getting it fast. I just follow a bunch of folks on Twitter and get most of the other info I would want. I just can only take so much mini drama from 17 year olds anyway, just tell me when they are committed and what they can do.

I'm not sure how to articulate it because its a number of things but it starts with the way TA/Looch/Gabe take themselves SO SERIOUSLY and think they are just Pulitzer class journalists. They have this air of superiority about them that is just so douchey. They fit the mold of the dudes that did fish camp counseling year in and out.
Looch & Co. just come off like a such huge pussies too. I'd never want them in charge of anything competitive. I guess I also feel like they only run the company lines, get butthurt over any and everything, and feel like they have to/want to help shape public opinion on things like the coaching search or keeping Sherman.
Nevermind the insufferable stupidity of posters and unbelievably unfunny inside jokes (hair & ankles, poopslaps, etc).
They might run a tight ship with lots of information but just everything about them is so toolish. TA is just a place that everyone goes because everyone goes there.
The short answer to the original question is, If you dont see it now...you won't.

I've tried all three...
Texags has by far the best bang for your buck. Nobody else puts out close to the volume of content. Yes, there are a lot of annoying little cocksuckers on the premium board and Liucci is a douche, but they do nice work. I will say that it gets old watching Liucci prance around like he is God's gift to college football, though. He tries to talk football when he really should just stick to recruiting. Half the posters on that site know the actual game of football better than he does.
247 is solid for recruiting but Taylor Hamm and Aubrey Bloom are truly unbearable human beings. Also, a lot of people argue that they actually hurt our recruiting efforts because they obssessively tweet, seek out and borderline harrass recruits. Bloom went on Finebaum a while back and absolutely got dressed down, making A&M look horrible in the process.
Rivals absolutely blows dick in every way imaginable, no other way to put it.
