Expansion moves Mizzou West, who's our East Rival?

For the sake of argument, lets say the SEC adds 2 schools from the East, 1 from NC and 1 from VA. Mizzou moves to the SEC West.
Further assume that the SEC keeps one cross divisional yearly rival in whatever scheduling system they come up with. With 16 members the SEC could go to some weirdo 4 pod scheduling system with no Eastern rival, but ignore that possibility.
We'll be in the same division as Ark and A&M, so we need a yearly rival from the East. I'd like to see it be UK. We'd be a minor rival for them in BBall, and we're the 2 most-yankee schools in the SEC. Doesn't hurt that they are usually bad in football.

Vandy ever since they screwed us in our first year.

For purely selfish reasons, Florida. My inlaws live outside Daytona and are UF alums, so it would be a fun trip each year for the whole family.

If you go to 16 then divisions are done. You most likely go to a pod system. 4 teams and 4 pods.

Why is everyone calling a 16 team conference "pod" based? Wouldn't it still just be divisions? Pod sounds like something a bunch of dooshers came up with.
I'm against using the term "pods", just putting that out there.

Somebody explained why Pods are better if we go to 16.. I don't remember the whole things, but it was clear it was much better.
It allowed for a better rotations with the schedule. Meaning you wouldn't wait 12 years between playing teams.
We could potentially really benefit from Pods, depending on how they put them together.

It was probably moving to a 9 game conference schedule, playing everyone in your pod (3 games), and then having 6 games against the other 12 teams. That way you would work your way through playing everyone in the conference every other year, kind of like what we did with the old B12 South schools.
Lots of interesting possibilities. I always see Mizzou mentioned in a pod with LSU, A&M, and Arkansas, which seems a little harder than the average pod. I'd prefer a pod of UK, Vandy, Arkansas.
