I won't care what bowl BAMA plays in if they don't make the National Championship game.

I get the feeling that Bama will go to the Sugar Bowl if it loses a close game to UGA.

No chance of that.

Bama will be 11-2.
Florida will be 11-1.

Florida will also be higher in the BCS standings.

Also, the final factor is Alabama was at the Sugar Bowl last year and fan travel wouldn't be near as high as Florida's.

If it's a close game and the voters still put it at

1) ND
2) UGA
3) UA

it could happen. And I think you underestimate how well Bama fans travel.

Sugar Bowl takes the winner of the SEC, and if the winner goes to the BCSCG, then they take the #2 SEC team overall (not necessarily the loses in the SECCG).

Happened to us in 2005. Got our arse kicked by UGA in the championship game and wound up in the Peach Bowl were we proceeded to kill The U.

I get that. All I'm saying is if it's a tight game the voters MAY keep Bama over UF which would make them the #2 team overall.

Gator - Vandy
Music City - Ole Miss
Compass - MSU

This is because the MC doesn't want Vandy because it losses hotel money so they end up at the Gator. MC picks OM over MSU.

False. Power brokers at the Cotton Bowl are Aggies and Red Raiders.

There's no way Florida doesn't get into the Sugar Bowl

Cap 1 gets first pick. You think they don't want Johnny heisman

I think they'd probably decline it in favor of facing down Big Brother and skullfricking them.

No way. Texas vs Texas A&M is a huge rivalry, Texas A&M beat Alabama in the regular season, and Johnny Manziel will be fresh off of the Heisman.

The bowl selections occur before the Heisman is awarded.

the Gator picks before the Music City. the SEC may lobby for Vandy over MSU to the Gator bowl because Vandy had the better conference record. if that happens, the Music City would choose between MSU and Ole Miss. they had MSU last year and are said to favor OM. that would drop State to the Compass which picks before the Liberty and Indy who won't get SEC teams
