Not confident. Think Clemson is just too explosive, as good as our defense is and as bad as theirs is, for Carolina to keep up. Doesn't help that Shaw won't be able to run with the foot injury. And the game is on the road, where Shaw hasn't played well to say the least.

Clemson's offensive line can't handle our D line, but it won't matter with the quick passing game. Similar to what happened in the LSU game - doesn't matter if Clowney and crew are unblocked, they aren't getting there if the QB is throwing the ball as soon as he hits his drop.

You could be right, but I have no reason to think we don't stop them. How are they different than last years team? Boyd is quicker and more able to run, but do you really see him making a difference against us with his feet? I don't.

Clemson is definitely explosive, but they have been putting up huge numbers against the likes of Wake Forest, Duke, NC State, etc. Not necessarily powerhouse defenses right there. Our best defense could be our running game grinding out yards and first downs and keeping their big play guys off of the field.
