Tigers go 3-0.

Oriahki leads 4 Tigers in double figures and collects over 10 rebounds for the third game in a row. Ross, Bowers, and Bell also scored in double figures.

Nicholls St. limited Pressey's effectiveness pretty well. Webster-Chan looked solid again but had freshmen moments. Jank looked all freshman all the time after a couple good games. Bell spurted to double figures in a matter of minutes and then kinda disappeared. But a marked improvement for him.

I hope Haith is figuring out his rotations now. I think the substitution patterns have hampered the player's ability to flow. They look kinda Mike Andersonish at times on offense.

I haven't seen the first few games. Do they look as good as last year? Better....worse....on par?

It's hard to say. They look bigger and tougher. Oriahki, Criswell, and Bowers are all better than Cardo, IMO.

Bell, Ross and Webster-Chan are all ballers.

If we can figure out how to mesh all the talent, especially with Brown and Dixon (fingers crossed), I think their ceiling is higher.

Bowers, Oriahki and Dixon can pick up the guts and heart we lost in Denmon and Dnglish. Mesh and we'll be better.

I think they are on par to exceed last years play.

Have watched all three games, and pattern has been okay first half, followed by explosive second half. All decisive wins, but they were not against same level teams. I'm just impressed that we have talent on bench ready to give first team a rest when needed.

Dixon might be getting nervous about his starting position, if he doesn't get off suspension soon. Then Brown should be eligible about mid December.

Eager to see how they perform in Burmuda next week against some better teams. Mizzou vs Stanford noon CST on Thanksgiving Day!

Hoo-Roo......Go Mizzou!

Criswell is the only one who isn't obviously better than Cardo offensively. Cardo got a bunch of his points in the pick and roll because of Phlip. Or from cutting to the basket or putting back rebounds. He wasnt great at creating his own shot and couldn't shoot consistently at 10 feet out. Not knocking him. He was a rock for us last year. Just really limited. And completely unimposing defensively.

Agreed, Oriakhi is a huge upgrade on the defensive end, but isn't necessarily a great scorer. Having Bowers back is huge, I think we need to run more post offense through him instead of Oriakhi.

While Ross and Bell look solid, they aren't quite the pure scorers Denmon and English were (although Ross has shown a sweet stroke). We'll be able to tell a little more about this team when Dixon and Jabari are eligible to play and we're not going against total scrubs. I do think we can be as good as last year, and hopefully not choke in the tourney.

We really need Dixon back. With Pressey off the court, I really don't think any of the other guys look comfortable running the point.

Maybe it's a bad first impression (and maybe its the hyphenated name) but I don't like Webster-Chan. He has this weird shite grin on his face all the time. I just really really don't like him so far.

Bell isn't as good as I thought, but we'll see how that goes. Maybe my problem is I'm comparing him to Denmon and I don't think he's as good as him..

Ross's hair is going to be why we make the the final four. All great college basketball teams need one flat top.

Put Oriahki on last years team and we're cutting down nets.

I've been impressed with Jankovich, and he seems like a fighter, a no BS gamer.

I'm most intrigued about adding Jabari Brown to this mix mid December.

I'm most concerned about how Haith manages this surplus of talent... that's going to be the key.
