Where does this victory rank all time for your program?
I'll hang up and listen.

Not sure if it beats the big 12 championship game vs KSU win in overtime. But if I had to pick id go with the win today.

Top 2 for sure. The other game being the A&M win over the sips after the bonfire tragedy.

Pretty incredible considering you guys are the new guy to the party and just took down the reigning champ.
Historic win no doubt. Congrats.

I think this win today was big! Anytime a number one team goes down, it is big time win.

I assume you're talking modern era?
For me, personally ....
1. UTex '99 - Bonfire game
1. KSU '98 - Big 12 CG
3. OU '02 - upset #1-ranked Sooners
4. Neb '98 - upset #2-ranked Huskers
5. Bama '12

No, any era...

The Bonfire game is by far the most emotional win in school history. Really didn't mean much from a standings or ranking standpoint, but it meant the world to the morale of the school.

it's tough to say really. In 1998 Nebraska came into Kyle having won 3 of the last 4 MNCs and were undefeated and ranked #2. That was a big win. Later that year we beat KSU in the Big 12 title game when a win by them would have sent them to the BCSCG.
You'd probably have to go back to the 70s to have a game as meaningful as those and I'm not that old

I don't see how any of you can rank any Big 12 game over this. You just took down the #1 defending national champ in their house. fricking people were saying they could beat an NFL team.

Aggies love to look backwards but this is easily #1. Bonfire game was oranges because of just how far it went outside football.

Why I ranked the games as I did:
1. Nothing will ever touch the Bonfire game, in terms of significance.
2. Apart from the game above, winning the conference CG is bigger than winning any single, regular-season game.
3. The OU & Nebraska upset games happened at Kyle Field. They were very special from that vantage point.
Don't get me wrong; today's win was big.

Posting this because of all the Ags on here; not hijacking thread. Wanted to let you know i did NOT turn over to the LSU game until your game was over. Missed about 7-8 minutes. That is about the greatest compliment i can give you. You gigged em and i enjoyed it. Solid win and i hate you will have jff for the next 3? Years.
