Florida just put a spy on him in the second half. And Florida's secondary is good enough to just play man to man and shut down most passing games.

Not really accurate. Yes Florida used a spy, but every team we've played has tried that and it rarely works. What Florida did was have their athletic DEs stop rushing, play contain and force Manziel laterally. That was much more significant than using a spy.
