I want to see what A&M can do against Bama's defense.... I think we're heading for an Oregon/Bama BCS Title game... if TAMU can have some success spreading the field and letting Manziel and Co. operate in space, then Oregon can do so as well.

Agreed with you on everything but your last sentence. The A&M/Bama tilt will be interesting, though I think Bama wins.

I also think its Bama/UO in Miami. But Sumlin/Kingsbury are modified Air-Raid from Leach & Mumme. Chip Kelly's Spread attack is nothing like that. They are ground-based with some passing thrown in. DAT, Mariotti & Barner are ground-game burners.

Two different variations of offense from the same wide-splits out of your OL do not make both a similar type of Spread Offense.

I understand they are two different spread systems built from different philosophies.... but there is a level of similarities -- pace of play being a big one.

We had success in the 2nd half of the 2010 Iron Bowl with going up-tempo after a first down... both teams have to make the bigger linebackers move in space.

Should be fun.
