Jesus you people have mythologized that game as some sort of epic beat down when the truth is it was a chip away type of victory.
Not really. I remember Musburger describing it as a "mauling". LSU crossed the 50 once, and Hightower took it away on the next play. 384 yards to 92 yards. 21 1st downs to 5. The final score doesn't properly describe that throttling.

I think this game is something of the 27-13 game with Bama cruising honestly. Just don't think LSU can move the ball often enough and Bama will have short fields often

Yes really. I just rewatched the entire game last night and it wasn't that bad. LSU did a LOT to hurt itself on offense. In fact, LSU did everything in its own power to prevent itself from moving the ball. Every time we got a positive play we had a false start or a botched snap or something.
And Bama didn't have a single penalty called on D until the 4th quarter (which is fricking BS, btw).

Brent Musberger is prone to hyperbole, you do know that, right.

The final score doesn't represent the fact that LSU still had a chance in the 4th quarter. The game wasn't actually out of reach until the Richardson TD. It was not as bad as you people make it out to be, frankly.

20 - 17 LSU
I'm sure Bama fans will ask how I think we will score that much but you never know what will happen when LSU and Bama play each other. A good defense can be the best offense sometimes.

38-6 Tigers. Taking a knee on 4th-and-goal with 16 seconds left in the game, ZM fumbles; the ball is picked up by a Bama lineman who runs 98 yards for Bama's only score. The 2-point conversion fails.

23 LSU
17 Bama
TO margin in LSU favor

Didn't you know that only Bama can beat themselves. If they lose a game it's because they made mistakes and beat themselves. If they win it's because they dominated the other team and caused the mistakes. Get with the program.

Here's some hyperbole for you. LSU needed binoculars to see the redzone.

It was 15-0 when LSU crossed the 50. You honestly think that that offense had a "chance" to score 2 touchdowns? 5 1st downs in the game bro. A legit offense gets 5 1st downs on a single drive.

you are the only one in the country who believes this. you my friend are living in another world...come back to reality before you hurt yourself.

I think what he is trying to say is that Bama's O was not some well oiled machine. Bama's D dominated the game, but LSU's D held their own with no help from the offense.

I see it going one of two ways. Either Bama will blow them out, or Bama makes a lot of mistakes, and the mad hatter will pull off a few trick plays & LSU wins in a fluke in a close one.

Bama's offensive performance was not that great, and they didn't come close to scoring 30.
Our offense is much better at getting into the endzone this year.

So ,you're saying bama cannot score as much as aubarn or towson? sounds legit
You're saying that LSU hasn't been preparing for this game for the last 2 weeks or arguably the last 10 months?
Sounds legit...pussy

Any idiot predicting Bama to score more than 20 points is a fool.

Maybe they should have prepared a little more for whoever they lost to.
