Miles did want to go to Michigan and had leaked that to Herbie. But that ended not when Herbie broke the story but when AD Skip Bertman told Miles on the day of the 2007 SEC CG that if he was going to Michigan he would NOT coach LSU in the 2007 BCS Championship Game and that he wanted Miles to publicly answer in a presser before the SEC CG.

Uh, no.

So Miles leaked it to Herbstreit so he could announce on the day of the SEC title game? No chance.

Plus Herbstreit said on TV that "another coach who would be part of the staff" told him Miles was going to MI.

ESPN is all about the ratings.

Back to A&M, Ole Miss had them beat and gave it away with two minutes to go. bama rolls them up in the second half. Not even close. (Unless they have injuries in BR)
