I have to agree with Coach Saban

watching the Oregon-Arizona State game and the Oregon offense is a joke and is bad for college football. Just line up and play football, not tecmo bowl 2012. Oregon better hope they do not meet a SEC team in Miami that has had a month to get ready for them.

This is a much more entertaining game than the traditional 3 yards and a cloud of dust that we see in the SEC.

I want you to tell me precisely how Oregon running a fast paced offense that scores almost at will is "bad for college football". Just like anything else, if teams don't like it, frickin stop them.

Diversity is what makes college football great. Every NFL team besides New England basically runs the same offense. College is not like that. Always fun to watch two completely different styles line up and see who wins.

Can't say I agree with Saban's sandy vag about up tempo spread offenses in college.

so the offense's job is to score points, and oregon's offense scores close to the most points in CFB, thus, they are a joke, because they go too fast. the defense's job is to prevent points, and lsu's defense allows close to the fewest in CFB, thus, they are the shite.

When asked three years ago but the AU spread he called it a gimmick offense. He said a disciplined defense that practiced against it will destroy the spread. Seems he was right.

I personally hate watching football like this. The offense doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that both defenses are completely inept, and I don't think that has a whole lot to do with the offensive scheme. They just suck.

then why did he lose to AU 2 years ago?
And before you say "because they had cam newton", do you think AU would have won that game if Auburn ran a pro-style, I-formation type offense with Cam under the center the whole game? No. The spread works (at some places) because the coaches get playmakers the ball in space to make plays.
Anyone complaining about the spread or saying it's cheap or too fast is just a whiny loser.

I hate the Oregon Ducks. I can't wait till the bowl season. I hope Oregon plays against an SEC opponent and gets fuk'n smashed.
