Holy shite Tech's defense was 119?

I was feeling bad about our penalties until I read that stat.

Johnny Football didn't play on any of the teams we have faced this year or in the past, therfore, we lose by 30.

When Louisiana Tech has 101 plays on your defense...Johnny football ain't gonna save you.

Wow.
I wonder what the record so far this season is for most penalty yards in one game by a SEC team...
Aggies have to be damn close to the top of the list.
ETA: Texas A&M is 102nd on the list of fewest penalties per game. LSU is 103rd. However, LSU averages 12 fewer yards in penalties per game vs. A&M. They must be getting more 15 yard penalties than we do.
Louisiana Tech is 119th.
Merlins' team has the fewest penalties per game of any SEC team. State averages 4 penalties for 39 yards per game.

Wish some aggies would show up in this thread.

This game is much more evenly matched then many give it credit for.
You have A&M's offense with first round talent at both OT spots and great skill position talent going up against a loaded defense. Then you have basically a mediocre offense in LSU up against a mediocre defense in A&M.
Now, I do think LSU has an edge but us being at home and a couple turnovers can dramatically change things.
I have a feeling this game will be decided in the second half and will be within one score.

You barley beat a team that was ranked 119 in defense, which was news to me. I feel much better now.

The ONLY stat that matters is the W in the win column, and the Ags will chalk up another one this Saturday against the over-rated Swamp Kitties.

I read the OP. What does it have to do with the upcoming game? Is it more relevant than the Townson game? Is it more relevant than the Auburn game? Is it more relevant than the Florida game?
The fact is, we played poorly, you played well. I don't know why that makes so many tiggers "feel better" though since you all seem to think you roll easily at Kyle. This game will be played and the result is entirely independent upon how either you or I feel about it and entirely independent of the results from the last game for each team.
