Would Milliner have been drafted higher then 2nd round last year if he declared? How does Banks being worse that Kirk/Claiborn/Gilmore last year make him worse than Milliner this year? Did Banks stay the same while Milliner progressed? If Larry Fitzgerald has 1500 yards and 18 TD's this year and Calvin Johnson has 1000 yards and 12 TD's are people going to say "Calvin Johnson had a better season because he's younger."?

Milliner is a true junior! He couldn't declare. That's another point, Milliner has 1 less year of experience and is still considered better. Think about it.

We're working on a fourth crystal football. The three we have say Milliner is the best CB in the country.

So? If Milliner is really better than Banks now he would have been better than Banks last year. Would he have gotten drafted before Banks if he could have declared last year?

He couldn't leave early. He was only a true sophomore last year.

Yes. I know. Everyone knows. Due to Bama fapping we know how old, how tall, how much they weigh, what chest tats they have and all kinds of other information about Bama players. If he could have declared would he have been drafted before Banks?

Milliner was not rated last year because he was not draft eligible. His play this year has been spectacular, and has pushed him past Banks, Amerson, and all other CBs.

14 passes defended in 5 games is remarkable.

How many passes defended did Banks have last year?

Yes.

It's hilarious that MSU fans think they have the best player in the history of CFB playing corner right now.

Look, Banks is really good. But he doesn't project higher than Milliner. And Milliner is younger

I have no idea, since neither left last year. Regardless, Dee Milliner has made that jump in his junior year that Alabama's previous two top corners did (2009 Kareem Jackson and 2011 Dre Kirkpatrick). Both of those were first round corners.

You find a hypothetical hilarious? Neither left, or in Milliner's case could not leave. That scenario is neither here nor there. What we do know is that Dee Milliner has defended more passes and is part of a statistically superior secondary.

Unless you are claiming Milner is the best player in the history of football, we aren't saying that.

It was exaggerated. But it is hilarious yall can't accept the fact that basically EVERY draft mock has Milliner rated as the better prospect. I get it, you're miss st and good players are pretty much non existent, but that doesn't mean you're good players are the best out there.

Oh so Banks is better, but Milner might be better some day.

Maybe.

Probably not.

So, basically you say Banks is better because YOU think he's better. I say Milliner is better because people who actually know what they're doing say he is.

I think he's better because statistics prove he's better.

You think Milner is better because some people think he has the potential to be better.

Mock drafts project who is better pro prospect on draft day in April 2013. Most drafts project Milliner is first CB taken.

I think he goes in the top 10. Banks is also a first round CB. I just think he is taken after Milliner.

FWIW, I do think Banks will make a better state trooper than Milliner.

We also know that Banks an extra pick, more tackles, and has much much less talent supporting him. It's a lot easier to defend passes that come from quarterbacks flustered by JWilliams, Square, Stinson, and a Blitz from Hubbard, Depriest, Johnson, etc.

last year's leader for passes defended had 21 for the season....Milliner already has 14 in only 5 games played (he didn't play vs. WKU)
