To be fair, it's a decent stat, but it's impossible to use those stats to compare a season like Milliner is having to a season like Banks is having

Would you like to see the other numerous sources that list Milliner higher?

How bout a little video evidence of how good Banks is. Show me a better interception from Milner.

Thanks for the bump, Capstone.

It is amazing how right I was this week.

Guess that is what elevates me to UpDyke level as a Gump.

Banks got teabagged by Bama receivers tonight.

You mean the same guy who was burned twice for TDs tonight?

BUMP

Funny how all the bammers were absolutely CORRECT.

Banks is not near Milliner's level. FACT.

MSU secondary is not near Bama's. FACT.

MSU starting secondary gave up 3 TDs and got 0 INTs.

Bama starting secondary gave up 0 TDs and got 1 INT.

These are facts.

It feels real good being right.

I don't think he was even close enough to any WR's to get teabagged.

Xavier Rhodes not even mentioned...no wonder people outside the SEC don't respect the opinions of our fans at times.

Probably the only guy that is in the conversation with Milliner this year...Banks is good, but he is tier 2 like most of MSU players.

You didn't know? Banks is the best DB in college football by a long shot. In a long, long time too.

I'll take my two young guys over him. but he would be a good fill in if they went down.

Nah...just playing...he can ball for sure, but Milliner is more athletic and just as reactive and instinctual.

You need to read this entire thread.

MSU fans: Banks is the best DB in the nation! :morecowbell:

Bama fans: No he's not, he's good, but Milliner is better and will get drafted higher

MSU fans: But look at this highlight of Banks! He got an INT! :morecowbell:

Bama fans: That's nice. Now look at these 10 draft mocks that have Milliner going before Banks.

MSU fans: Well just watch the game when we play Bama, Banks is gonna have a field day out there. :morecowbell:

Said game is then played, and Banks gets burned twice for 2 TDs. Bama's entire starting secondary didn't give up a single point. This includes Milliner

A&M will expose him again.

He's definitely a top 4 CB, but the battle for top two belongs to Milliner and Banks, and Milliner just proved last night he's number one.

I don't think Banks is as good personally...he gets out of position way too often and has benefitted from matching up against less than capable QB's for the most part...look at his tape last year and this year. He is not nearly capable enough to physically stop a receiver. You put him on a guy that is his size and he loses the battle physically. He's fast and hard to beat on a straight fly route, but playing corner is more than that and his technique is not sound enough to be in the top 5 this year.

I would take Poyer, Simon, Milliner, Rhodes, Amerson, and maybe Byndom...I haven't seen enough of Byndom though, tbh.

Arkansas last year and Bama this year both exposed Banks for the prospect he is...went right at him with the pass and he was lost all game.
