This is classic hyperbole. Just because Aggie fans think they'll win, suddenly means they are saying they will dominate? You're lying. No one has said we will roll. Vegas thinks you're a 3 point favorite. If A&M performs one touchdown better than expected, they should win the game. Is that not a fair assessment? I think it is far more reasonable to say that A&M wins by 4 than LSU wins by 14(which you have claimed) and Vegas would agree. So when it comes down to it, you have the far more extreme opinion than an Aggie fan that believes A&M wins a close one.

While I expect LSU to win, it's as though LSU fans have completely forgotten the fact that their offense is awful.
Believe it or not, you actually DO have to score points to win and your offense is as bad statistically as our defense.
The other thing is that pretty much half of their yardage was from one guy (Patton).
LSU literally doesn't have a guy capable of making as much of a mismatch as he did (and if they did, Mett couldn't get them the ball), not to mention we were missing 4 Defensive players last week because of suspension and injury that will be back this week.
Fact is, your offense is similar in style to Florida's (but worse), and we held them to 20 -- only 6 points more than you allowed, and fewer than anyone else they've played this year.

Can't argue much with your analysis. The only variable that isn't really reflected in these stats is that this is a new offensive scheme and a new freshman QB that is running it. Improvements on offense are being made each week.
Ags defense is good against the run. Not great, but pretty good. Tackling issues and penalties are also problems.
If Tigers defense can shut the Ags down then we have a problem. Don't have the depth on the defensive line of scrimmage for 3 and outs.
We shall see. I like our chances better now than I did before the season started. If the Ags offense gets on a roll at home... well, you never know.
GIGEM
itll be a real test for how far yalls offense has come since florida, for lsu to win they must come out quick and shut down the aggie offense early. we cant afford to let JF get any momentum. but im sure the chief will have his defense ready for the task at hand.

I'm waiting for part two wherein you similarly review LSU's defense as it relates to the fact that the Tigers have played exactly one offense in the top 50 in scoring (USCe at 36) and exactly 2 in the top 100 (Florida at 65). And none in the top 80 in total offense. A&M is no. 6 in the country in total offense in case you were wondering. And of the 6 total football games JF has played in his collegiate career, Florida was the first.
I'll hang up and listen.

Should LSU win? Yes.
Is it unthinkable they dont? No.
Case closed.

No matter how much you look at the stats, the key to who wins comes down to the A&M offense vs LSU defense. Both are highly ranked in their respective categories in the nation, so whoever comes out on top of that battle wins. A&M defense vs LSU offense will probably be a wash in all honesty. The DLine can make plays to stop the running game and LSU's passing attack isn't exactly lighting it up out there while the A&M secondary has plenty of room for improvement.
One encouraging stat for Aggies fans:
LSU opponent's red zone scoring: 100% (#118 in the country, tied for last place)
A&M's offensive red zone scoring: 89% (#23)
If LSU has 2 turnover while we eliminate keep the ball under control and reduce stupid penalties, I think A&M has valid reasons to believe this game can be won (especially at Kyle Field).

Another one of these thrown out with absolutely no reference. Love those.
What fans are you talking about?

Dude, please. We know it is more likely that we lose, but we do think we have a legit shot.

Nice edit...btw, it is not as if LSU fans never pull out the ol' transitive property when it suits their purpose.

We just put up 400 yards against USCe. Please go to texags, the A&M board, or post less here. Thanks.

lsu's offense against florida was 1-13 on third down. I have no idea how many first downs in the game but it wasn't many. The defense was on the field the whole game against florida and was worn out. They got gashed on two series with Kevin Minter out. The f AGS defense do not have a shot of shutting down lsu's run game and they will be on the field a long time with there offense sitting on the bench. It will be a long day in college station wouldn't be surprised if A&M quits by the third quarter.
