Minimize mistakes - penalties (i.e. throwing away almost 200 yards w/ 19 La Tech penalties) and turnovers can NOT be repeated

Aggie O-line - Must find ways to open holes b/t their ends and keep em out of our back-field - this BATTLE v their D-line will highly dictate game outcome

Aggie secondary/backers - MUST wake up - Lsu's freshman Jeremy Hill is not La Tech's Patton, but has proven he can be just as lethal on the ground

Kingsbury - Manziel will be shadowed/spied/late-hit/etc. - his calls must be unpredictable and exploit LSU doubling up on Manziel - slants/tight-end/boot-legs/etc.....

Kyle field - our crowd must continue their incredible/LOUD support

Mettenberger PRESSURE - rush/pressure/confuse this LSU qb - forcing bad throws/decisions very KEY

Believe - Ags must 100% feel they can earn a W through 4 qtrs - anything less gives away game....

Frankly, I dont think we win because of a number of things but primarily depth. It will however give our team a taste of what it takes to be great. This is when we start learning how to do more than just win but win big.

I'd say these are the big points. They're going to take the things UF did right in the 2nd half against Manziel and bring it the whole game.

If Manziel has a great game passing the ball underneath. Must be very effecive on quick routes.

Manziel passes for 260+ and Ags have to rush for 130+ to have a chance.

Swope has 5+ catches

Limit turnovers to 1 or less.

Score 27 pts of more

Offense avoids too many 3 and outs. Have to keep our D off the field so we don't tire out against their running game.

<60 yards in penalties

Other thoughts:

Is there anything worse than an 11am kickoff in all of college football? Some of our home field advantage is negated. Some.

Is LSU really better than South Carolina? probably not. SC came out flat after their big win the weekend before. Plus, playing in Death Valley was worth a few points to LSU. SC could probably beat LSU 3 out 4. Didn't do it when it counted though.

Will LSU come out flat after their big win? Probably not.

LSU offensively just not explosive. Adequate enough when paired with their D.

Kyle,

That's a pretty solid summary.

LSU is a team with few weaknesses but they are there. What we shouldn't do is try to "Out LSU" them. By that I mean trying to power run the ball or try to do a lot of East/West speed plays. What we need is lots of quick hitting plays that confuses their D and catches them out of position. Slants, quick misdirection runs, etc. We also need to attack their CB's if they give us 1 on 1 coverage. The Safeties are stellar but the CB's are far less experienced, especially with an aggressive passing attack. We also need to sustain drives while looking for the home run.

I hope someone also tells our Front 7 that they are expected to be pushed around and dominated and they aren't physical enough to compete.

This game is very winnable. It certainly is no given but it is winnable. MIstake free ball and focus and I think we can do it.

Oh I wouldn't worry about that. Ced Ogbuehi tweeted this earlier in the week. Pretty sure they're gonna be fired up
