I think they both had some blame but I think the Duke game was already desired by ESPN while the Indiana game was geared to the actual fans of UK and IU. Why in the fook do you play Duke on a weekday at 9pm that far away when you can play IU and both sets of fans can drive in an hour or so.

It's all about exposure. And playing in the Champions Classic was far too good a deal to turn down.

And it's at the Georgia Dome which is even closer then what Madison Square Garden was (well attended by UK fans BTW).

I don't have a problem with dropping IU after the shite that went on at Assembly Hall. And I'm not talking about losing either.
