John, OP, this is a fricked up post. As an Aggie, you know we value tradition. shite, I'm beyond pissed that tu won't schedule us OOC on Thanksgiving. FSU, GT, and Clemson have no problem playing their in-state, OOC, SEC rivals. It's a tradition. And that is what makes college football bad arse.

We joined the most tradition rich conference in the nation, we are the most tradition rich school in the nation. What better fit? The least we could do is to make damn sure that Alabama/Tennessee, UGA/Auburn, and LSU/Florida get played each year.

Let's honor tradition and play these games.

Well fricking said Balinese. As important as TSIO is to me for personal reasons, I have similar sentiment towards UGA/AU. College football has basically become a professional endeavor, with the traditions being the primary area where college excels. You’ll see LSU fans whining about this because, well, that’s what they do. But it comes down to tradition.
