Well, I caught on but at the same time you can't risk being wrong if he actually is a vet. Perfect bait.

I would have made him drive 70-80 yards to score rather than 30.

They had just gone 99 yards and scored in like 3 plays... there was reason to believe they could do it again

We were completely gassed. Our strategy all night was to drop in coverage and keep Manzel in the pocket. Our DB's, who are average anyway, were gassed from playing zone all night for 8-10 sec. The one time we blitz on 3rd down late, he burned us for the TD in the corner. (incredible play btw). His only option was to go for it. If we would have gotten it on 4th down the game was over. This would all be a moot point if we would have got the FG to send it into OT.

CBS has you ranked 42nd in total offense...this after playing a FCS team, the 87th, 70th,107th, 1st and 43rd ranked defenses.

Well, according to ESPN we are 68th in passing and 25th in rushing. State is 70th in passing and 48th in rushing. And y'all have played against MUCH worse defenses than we have. So our offense > yours.
So please, try to talk shite again.

I didn't say anything about our offense being any good...in fact it has been very underwhelming to date. You are the one touting a prolific offense, not me.

Considering the teams we have played against, the talent we have and where we were last year, I'd say it's pretty damn impressive that we have one of the best offenses in the SEC. (Dumbass comment was here but I edited. My reading comprehension failed me).

Alabama is 80th and 40th.

We average out better than they do.

Science.

To read my post and think that I called OMs offense underwhelming is ignorant.

I'm going to help this thread out.

Ole Miss's offense is fricking phenomenal compared to their defense.

What makes their offense even more amazing is that it's filled with juco quality players and a coach that takes trick plays off of video games when he's not watching his shower webcam.

It is just funny to me the way your fan base has jumped on the moral victory bandwagon after all the crap I heard in celebrating close loses in Mullens first year.

Prolific offense...to date not hardly but who knows, I like what Freeze has done so far.

You only had to punt once because you turned the ball over 6 times. The stat can be played both ways dumbass. How many of those turnovers were on 3rd down? I would rather punt 6 times than turn the ball over 6 times.

At best, we would have had three more punts from drives that instead ended in TOs.

Johnny and Swope's fumbles were deep in your territory. Harris muffed a punt.

You guys didn't force Dustin Harris to muff a punt and you didn't force the ground to dislodge the ball from Johnny's hand (yes, he was scrambling, but the force that caused the fumble wasn't a defender).

You're right, without the Ole Miss pass rush, Manziel would still have fumbled. /sarcasm

Dude was running for his life on that play and tripped. I'd say that means Ole Miss caused the fumble. Your confirmation bias is very, very strong here.

Y'all are a really good football team. I'm not trying to take anything away from TAMU. I'm just proud of Ole Miss for giving y'all hell for three-and-a-half quarters and terribly upset that they squandered it.
