Pat Dye has no clue what he's talking about anyways. He's not involved with the Auburn football program like many think. In fact, I wish he'd just go away and stop publicly making an idiot out of himself for the entertainment of rival fanbases. Stop going on Pawwwwwwwl Finebaum, you old fart. He's got an office there and he's been in it frequently this season. Not sure he's trying to communicate his "wisdom", but he's been in the football complex on multiple occassions this year..in HIS office.
I heard yesterday something that would concern me if I was an AU fan. Chiz used to have some issues with Troop. The staff divisions have changed some internal dynamics and Trooper (he of the player coddling coaching school)now has Chiz's ear. This staff has issues similar to 2008. It's not great.
If AU loses to Ole Miss then I truly think Chiz is gone at season's end. If they lose to Ole Miss and Vandy, they may drop him mid season ala Terry Bowden. Either way, the staff in 2013 likely won't have the current three best coaches still there (BVG, Bouleware, and Grimes). All of them can easily get employment elsewhere.
