I think the article portrays Bama in good light. Bama fans are just too stupid to understand that.

Incorrect. Cindy Martin is president of al.com. She is a Bama grad.

My whole point of posting, wasn't what everyone has gone off on.
I thought the writer is a tard because he's a former beat writer, trying to make a big deal about fans having "team rooms" in their houses. I figure at least 80% of football fans that I know, has a "team room" in their house. This dummy is acting like it's a freakish thing only Bama folks do. Hence, calling him a tard.
I'm really surprised this thing took off like it did. I figured the Moe comment in the other article would have switched gears in the thread.

Alahunter,
I thought I would help your thread's lifespan by simply posting in it!
Whenever I post in a thread, I on average increase that thread's potential by 3 pages.
It's called the Killz Effect.

Well, someone has to take on the tards. If that person is me...so be it. I've been taking one for the team for a while now.
I call it a service to the rant.

The problem is your Missouri women can't resist our charm. A couple of my closest lifelong friends and I were in Gulf Shores one summer in high school and we met 2 girls from St Louis. My Auburn friend hooked up with one of the girls and she basically went fatal attraction on him and stalked him for the next 3 years. This chick literally studied our home town in Alabama and knew as much about it as we did. She would even call me long distance to talk about my friend. She once made the 12 hour drive to Auburn unannounced when he was in college at Auburn to suprise him. Ever since then I've just assumed Missouri girls are bat s### crazy. The Alabama men visiting Columbia this weekend have more to worry about than the Missouri women do.

The Auburn fan is the Publisher/President of The Birmingham News. Her name is Pam Siddall. She's from Phenix City and graduated from Columbus State.

Gov Tide,
Same with your women. No joke I dated a girl from North Carolina. When she graduated college, she moved out here to live with me...though I hadn't graduated yet and I was worried she would have difficulties adjusting since she had told me that she'd never been out of NC before.
She wasn't bat shite crazy as much as she was a southern bitch. Damn she had an attitude. I was glad to see her move back to the east coast.
Though her parents absolutely loved MO...especially Branson. Go figure.
Bitches be crazy everywhere.

Oh, I know. I'm just frickin with you because that was the most memorable encounter any of us had with Missouri girls growing up. That summer encounter at the beach was also the first time I'd ever been offered a "pop" instead of a Coke to drink. I've heard of having a Coke and a smile but never a pop and a smile.

Sounds like the girl you met wasn't originally from stl then, everyone here either calls it coke or "soda". Pop is a more northern and eastern thing

I call BS. There was not 20k UGA fans there that weekend. No offense meant but that is a grossly inflated number.
Seriously, why would you travel that far and not have a ticket

Exactly, which is why I bit the bullet and paid $200 a ticket a month ago on Stub Hub. They have now gone down considerably with Mizzou's record, but I wasn't about to drive an RV 700 miles with no tickets

Nope, no it wouldn't (and nothing ever will), but with threads on the first page like "Spinoff: Name the NFL team that could honestly beat Bama" - the hubris is quite thick with your lot, and a loss to Mizzou would be pretty damn funny.
I have to agree that many Bama fans are over the top, and in the entire non-Bama football world there will be much celebrating when that inevitable loss occurs. But, it isn't going to be this week.
