In reality, the game was never close, but if Kentucky would have made 1 or 2 more big plays they could have been right back in the mix. It's frustrating watching us go all vanilla when we get up just a couple scores, but in Merlins we trust.

Other Random Thoughts:

Chris Smith needs to learn to hang on to the fricking ball.

Congrats to Bumphis for becoming the all time leader in Touchdown Receptions in MSU history.

Someone put out an APB on Joe Morrow

Good Job by both lines today. Good to see PJ doing work.

Our LBs and Dline played well today.

So did our Oline on run blocking. Russell had a very good game also

Just off the top of my head, I can't remember any time this year where we've attempted a sweep or an outside toss to Perkins. All of his runs have been between the tackles. So strange.

Chris Smith is the bizzaro receiver on the team. He sure can catch a ball, but he just can't hold onto it once he's caught it.

About the game, I guess I didn't have to worry too much. We took care of business but did make the second half a little exciting with the onside kick debacle.
