Walker 463 yards 5 TDs

Gurley 536 yards 9 TDs
Gurley also has half the carries that Herschel had at the same point in time…

Gurley has been truly awesome as a true freshman playing in the SEC but he should never ever be compared to Herschel.

This isn't the first time I've noticed this either. Something gets posted on here and then a few minutes later it's posted on the rant. Can we have our own shite?
And it's not even other fanbases. It's usually a Dawg doing it. Keep the shite "in-house". There's a reason the team boards are read-only. It's nice to step away from the tards on occasion. Go Dawgs!!

Let's cut to the chase: It's no mystery that......the biggest violater of reposting hackery is Dawgfan243864.

FWIW the first 5 teams Herschel went up against finished with a combined overall record of 19-36.

Gurley is a beast no doubt, but he (or anyone else, for that matter) shouldn't be compared to HW until all is said and done and the facts are in. NEVER.

Herschel was the best at running through defenders. I agree it's way too early to make the comparison, but TG can shake off a tackle in pretty similar fashion. Will be fun to watch next couple of years - oh my god a freshman.

Gurley is unstoppable. He will play even better against a good defense. I see him getting 400 yards and 6 TDs with maybe another 100 in kick returns and that is if USC gets a late field goal.

Gurley actually runs a faster 40 than Herschel did. Of course Herschel had world class speed in the 100. Herschel just kept accelerating...

Gurley won state in the 200 meter hurdles.
Anybody else see that stiff arm he put on the butt-chugger heading for the endzone? He's not just fast, he is strong.
What he is accomplishing does not diminish what Herschel did. It's a different era. Different system. Incredible none the less.
CMR and Bobo do a great job of utilizing him as well.
