so the vols may at least get the more yards moral victory like mizzou did? kinda like bonus stars on mario party 8. sure it's nice you had the most coins and all but at the end of the day you still came in 3rd in stars. or lose by 21. either way.

Pulled away in the 4th, it's called old man football and depth.

If Georgia doesn't have Jarvis Jones they lose that game, but obviously they do and he's a beast so moot point

so you're saying if UGA was down not only 4 starters but also another all american then we'd lose? well gee if we had all our offense out we may have lost too

Anyone who watched that game would realize the score does not indicate how most of the game was played. It was 17-9, Mizzou late in the third quarter. They beat us with their depth and superior d-line, as well as our stupid turnovers and ill-advised trick plays.

Old Man football beat Future Man Football that day. Won't happen again.

They had one meaningless 24-yard run at the end of the game against our backups. That's why they outgained us.

Unless we play for 60 minutes then UGA will rape us in the 4th quarter. However, I do like that we have nothing to lose and should play very aggressive. Our offense is explosive enough that we could jump out quickly and if our defense creates turnovers then I could see us at least having a shot

The Dawgs scored two of the 4th Quarter TD's on very short fields because of Missouri Turnovers.

I could really give a crap about yards. The scoreboard says a 21 point win.

some notable stats:

Immeasurable Stat:

James Franklin was bullied and injured in that Georgia game.... and chose not to play the next week against ASU because of the pain and nightmares. His team then turned on him, and he played scared and with zero confidence against USCe...... and now their entire offense, which is based around Franklin's unique skillset, is an impotent joke and destinied for further mock and ridicule.

Translation: No other team this year will play the same MiZzzouri team that UGA played.

You're Welcome.

Good teams play 4 quarters. Good teams have depth.

Bad teams tank at the end of games. Bad teams have no depth.

MU went up 17-9 at the 11:48 mark of the 3rd qtr. UGA took the ensuing KO & went on a 12 play 75yd drive & 2point conversion to tie the game at 17 with 7:27 left in the 3rd....

So no...MU didn't lead 17-9 late in the 3rd qtr...

So the better team won by 21 because they were better?

Touchy little bastard, aren't ya?

The better team won the game. I never claimed otherwise. I'm just stating the fact that the game was closer than it appeared from the final score.

Nah. The score accurately reflected how close the teams were. If the two teams would have engaged in an exhibition for 15 minutes more on that day, it would have continued down hill. Once UGA took the lead in the second half, it was a throttling.
