What say you? Supposedly Vegas is favoring us, the piggies seem to have lost their team.
Coaching - John L. Enough said. Huge edge Aggies.
WR - They have a really good group, but with Swope ever ready to have a big game, and EZ dialed in, I'd say we have better receivers.
RB - Knile Davis did lead the SEC in rushing at one point. I don't see the A&M running backs currently capable of this, especially given the offensive line's inability to adapt to this scheme. Gotta give it to the pigs(reluctantly).
Defense - Huge edge A&M. It is just obvious.
QB - Gotta give it to Tyler Wilson. I don't see how the sunshine pumpers could disagree with this.
So the only way Arky wins this is if Tyler Wilson has a huge game and the rest of his team executes. Seems improbable, though.

Arkie 24
I don't think they can stop our offense and I think we can slow theirs. I also think they used up their "rally mojo" last week. They seem resigned to their fate and John L has gone full out BSC. My only fear would be if we were taking them lightly but I don't see that happening.

Hopefully key players on the defense still have a sour taste in their mouth from last year and don't give up and stupid big plays in the second half. The second half collapse monkey is still on our back, imo. Especially after the goose egg in the second half against Florida.

I agree with your whole assessment. If we get a quick 2 score lead though I think it could be a lot more. But I don't see that happening.

My prediction is something along the lines of 41`-20 or so. Alot like the 2009 game. Close through the first quarter or so but not really any doubt after halftime.

Okay, I'll play..
Ags 45
Ark 23
I think Arkansas just needs a reason to quit on the game. A few scores by the Ags early and they might fold their tent up.

Very few have ever been bold enough to walk down that path.

The ONE thing that I'm not worried about with Sumlin at the helm is whether we'll be ready to play. I feel like our team has given every opponent the proper respect whether it was Florida or South Carolina State. The arky game will be no different. I say we'll have another relatively slow start, then kick the offense into gear late in the 1st quarter and won't look back.

I still don't know how we are going to react when we are down, and Johnny turns the ball over. What kind of leadership does he have under duress? It will be interesting to see, and Arky's defense might be a good one to reveal it, since they are one of the worst we will face in the SEC.

Here's what I think:
1st Quarter. Another slow start. Both teams score late. 7-7 at the end of the quarter.
2nd Quarter. Ags score a FG on their first drive to go up 10-7. Arkansas drives just past the 50 but Damontre sacks Wilson, causing a fumble that is returned all the way for a score. The wheels completely fall off for Arkansas at this point as we put up another 3 touchdowns before the half to lead 38-7.
3rd Quarter. Not wanting another 2nd half collapse, Coach Sumlin makes a massive statement by keeping the starters in the entire quarter. The result: outscoring Arkansas 24-7. Score after 3: A&M 62, Arkansas 14.
4th Quarter. Satisfied that they won't come back, Sumlin calls off the dogs. Arkansas scores an additional 10 points in garbage time, but A&M scores twice. Once on a kickoff return and once on a pick 6. Final score: A&M 76, Arkansas 24.

I think Arky is going to be pretty pumped and will be much tougher to put away than most expect. I think it will be a shoot out but the Ags will win as long as JFF continues to avoid turnovers.
A&M - 45

Arkansas could only put up 26 points against Rutgers...at home.

I don't think they will have the same mistakes they made vs Rutgers. There were some drops and picks that are correctable. Plus, Rutgers has a pretty good defense.
Whoever wins the TO battle will win IMO.
