No coach or AD is going to play a 8 game conference schedule and then place four BCS caliber programs on the non-conference slate. That is suicide.

the only way it'd ever be happened is if it was instituted NCAA-wide and there is no chance the ADs turn over scheduling power to them. and who is the NCAA to determine that? it's up to the schools how many teams they play, where, and who. and it isn't fair at all to the teams making these pay days and thus paying for the entire athletics program. without these games idk how many of these teams can really continue to support their teams.

Why? If every other division 1 team is doing the same thing it's fair. So what if there are no undefeated teams.
