SEC Power Rankings Week 2

1. Alabama
This one is easy. The Tide destroyed Michigan on national television making the talking heads look like idiots.
2. LSU
Didn't look like world beaters like Alabama, but still the second best SEC team in the SEC. Mettenberger should do fine at LSU.
3. Georgia
Defense must improve and it should when they get their players back. Gurley is going to be beast this season.
4. Arkansas
Gave up too many points and turned it over too many times. But, once again the offense looks great. Davis should improve as the season goes.
5. South Carolina
Shaw is a hell of player coming back from that injury. Lattimore played well too, but they must find a deep threat if they want to win the East.
6. Tennessee
The Vols offense looks pretty good and they probably had the best game of the Eastern teams.
7. Missouri
Looked good against Southeastern Louisiana, but that should be expected. The O-Line must improve before the date with Georgia.
8. Auburn
Their defense is a mess giving up 231 yards to Clemson's Ellington. Their QB isn't much better. Looks like the Tigers will finish in the middle of the SEC West.
9. Florida
They have a good defense and that's it. Struggling against Bowling Green was dreadful to watch at least they may have found their QB in Driskel.
10. Texas A&M
Did not play
11. Mississippi State
What's to say? They hammered Jackson State with not much of a running game. But, Russel looked good out there.
12. Vanderbilt
Maybe they should be higher or maybe not. Vandy was robbed of a possible win. Rodgers is underrated and their running back Matthews is fast.
13. Ole Miss
At least you're not last.
14. Kentucky
Dead last and won't move for a while they got whipped by a Big East team.

It's a shame Ole Miss and Kentucky don't play again. Would be another classic!

A&M will move up to #7 next week after we beat UF and UGA's DL kills a couple Mizzou players

Who exactly do you put them ahead of then? The only team ahead of them they might could beat is Miss. St., but even that would take a terrible effort on State's part.
I think Vandy is right where it should be.

That game against Michigan was fools gold. I hope they stay 1 till they stroll into baton rouge.

I'm guessing you thought Michigan would give Alabama a game, maybe even beat us.

They did. And as bad as it was it could have been worse, Saban let off the throttle.

Was it really a struggle? If we didn't struggle how many yards would we have run for?
Because I didn't see the game I didn't see the "struggle". I look at the stats and can't see the struggle. Mike G looks like he had a heck of a game.
Isn't BG supposed to win the MAC too. They are not great by any stretch but it appears they were solid.

I thought floridas D was supposed to be good. Had them for my fantasy team and got 0 fking points.

I still say Ole Miss is worse. We wont be down to an FCS team. No way.

It's a glitch. They should have 12 points. It will fix it's self before next week.
