Seriously now: I liked pretty much all that I saw from us out there.

CP84 pretty much IS as advertised, so far...Hell of a statement when you can come out in your first FBS game and be that explosive of a playmaker against one of the best secondaries in the country.

Which brings me to our secondary...

AMAZING job tonight. (4 picks!)

I loved what I saw from the entire defense...especially the aggressiveness from Sunseri, even though it did cost some big plays us early on.

Braysus was Braysus...need I say more?

2 TD and ZERO picks (most important number) against what some called the BEST secondary in FBS.

We will see what this team REALLY is gonna do on Sept.16 vs. Gators.

Until then, GO BIG ORANGE and have a great Labor Day weekend fellow Ranters.

-CP is the real deal

-UT's secondary made potential 1st round QB throw 3 interceptions. or was it 4.

-Amerson just lost millions tonight. top 5 pick moved all the way down to 4th round. he got exposed when he faced UT's prototypical NFL receivers

-according to ESPN, NC State had the best secondary unit in the nation. all 4 out of 4 ESPN analyst picked NC State. CBS picked NC State. NC State was SI's preseason top 25 team. I still believe NC State will 9 games. Cincinnati won 10 last year.

I was impressed by the defense. I knew Sunseri was agreat position coach, but he definitely looks like the real deal as a coordinator.

I would go ahead and burst your bubble on any other night, but enjoy your victory.

Congrats on the big win, Vols. As it all starts with defense in the SEC, it seems like Dooley made a great hire with Sunseri. Everyone knows Bray has what it takes, now we know he has the receivers he needs.

Get the timing down on the running game, eliminate mistakes and focus on the special teams and you guys WILL be in Atlanta again in December.

When you say 'some' I assume you really mean none.

Bray Should have had 2-3 interceptions that were just dropped. He is still stupid with the ball.
