That is certainly part of it, numbers can be twisted. Auburn has 13 seniors I believe. Two years ago, Auburn had 2 juniors leave early. Alabama had 3 last year.. Trent Richardson, Dont’a Hightower and Dre Kirkpatrick, not sure how many in 2010 (Ingram, others?).

2010 & 2011 Bama teams each lost 3 JRs to the NFL.
Dareus, Jones, and Ingram in 2010 & Richardson, Dre, and Donta in 2011 (all 1st round picks).
