Possibility of "official" LSU/BAMA Rivalry?

With all the LSU/BAMA static lately, am I the only who is seeing this? I think it would be a great idea. 2 storied programs making a huge matchup even bigger. With the tiger rag (LSU/Tulane) gone and the battle for the golden boot not being as big as last year's bama/LSU matchup, what are the chances of this?
The game heard around the world?
Battle for the Crimson Tiger?
I could see it being up there with the iron bowl, cocktail party, mich/OSU, etc
Thoughts?

Battle for 1st
Winner gets #1 Ranking in BCS as well as SEC West.
Not really changing anything.

It's not a rival but the Miles Saban deal is kinda like the 10 year war with Michigan and OSU during the Bo/Woody days
we're entering year 6 correct with a 3-3 record?

LSU is a rival with whoever is on their level
before that was low so Ole Miss was their rival
then they got big and it switched between Florida and Auburn
now we're both at the top of the pile so it's us
it will change with whomever they're angry with at the moment
too bad Tulane couldn't stay relevant

This is correct.
But I still have a special hate in my heart for Ole Miss. Even last year when beating them was the equivalent of raping a corpse, I wanted more.

Didn't say bigger, I said up there. As in bigger than almost all of the half-arse rivalries out there. Read next time.
