Talking football with an old coach

He spent Tuesday with McGee and the UAB coaching staff. Most of the day was spent inside the UAB football building, but Petrino was on the field during the team's two-hour practice in full pads.

In the 30-minute time period that media members were allowed to watch practice, Petrino stood in between practice fields watching the workout while occasionally jotting down notes. At times, he talked to assistant coaches or other members of the football program.

"He brings a lot to the table as far as helping a young head coach, as far as helping a young offense and kind of looking at things and giving his input," Brohm said. "We were happy to have him here and he helped us tremendously."

Yeah they did a spot on one of the morning sports shows. It makes sense for him to stay around football considering he'll have a job next year

Hey now! I have nothing against any size. Except Larry beach whaler.

You're skinny from eating like a prepubescent girl, but he's skinny possibly from depression or worse.
