Has MU had best run of QB's since the late 90's/2000's?

They have had:
Corby Jones
Brad Smith
Chase Daniel
Blaine Gabbert
Franklin
Not a bad group of players and all pretty successful in college.

Even with LSU last 4 craptastic years, I would put them ahead with guys like Rohan Davey, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Mauck and Matt Flynn. I guess you could include Herb Tyler too, he was around till 98. Actually and wasn't Josh Booty all SEC one year

LSU & UGA are the clear cut best, pretty tough call between the two, though.

As much as I hate the frigging bastards, USC has done pretty damn good. MU has had more than most for sure

Late 90's takes them out of the equation. Palmer was average until his senior year.

Palmer, Leinart, Booty, Sanchez, and Barkley...

I get that, but be willing to bet you other than OU, not another team has had two Heisman QB with a probable number 3

Oklahoma is definitely better...working backwards...
Landry Jones
Sam Bradford
Paul Thompson
Rhett Bomar
Jason White
Nate Hybl
Josh Heupel
That's a pretty incredible run. A shaky freshman in Bomar and a low talent guy in Thompson (who still threw up what most would consider good numbers), other than that, some big time nationally known guys.

What's the criteria? How they did in college or how they've done in the pros?

wasnt Sorahan the one Nutt plucked from the intramural fields?
Posted on 8/16/12 at 11:49 pm to Latarian
Sorahan was the Juco guy from California
