Hater is very good at what he does. He lives in Omaha and while Mizzou and Nebraska were both in the Big 12 he started a "HuskerH8r Blog" that laid the smack down so hard on them daily (kinda like the above) that it got tons of TV and newspaper press and tons of Cornhusker fans following it just to react and give him hell....his blog alone did as much to revive a sense of rivalry between Mizzou and Nebraska as Mizzou's football resurgance and corresponding wins over the Huskers did.

He's right... it's a helluva a lot harder to be a Mizzou fan than it is to be a fan of most schools. The fact that our program averaged 60k fans per game throughout the 80s and 90s is remarkable. Most spoiled fanbases (looking at you, sidewalk Bammers) would have quit a long time ago.

The point that douchebag is missing ISN'T that Mizzou has been through tough patches before. It's that those tough patches have been against competition that pales in comparison to what they will see in the SEC. Losing by 60+ to Kansas State? But, somehow, it's impossible for it to get worse. Ever.

All I can say is that Arkansas/Mizzou rivalry is going to be a GOOD one. Glad I only live a lil over an hour from F'Ville so I can be in the thick of it

Reads like Missouri's version of Pondwater Jack.
