There is nothing wrong with thugs. The key is harboring a good environment for them to succeed in. Early years Fulmer and Kiffin undertstood this. Dooley does not seem to (although he is impressing me with his recent handling of incidents).

It is best to allow them to do what they please off the field and cover any crime they commit up, and they will be more likely to produce on the field in return.

So you're telling me that we should recruit a bunch of honor students? You recruit talent, not personality types

if he has any respect, he should STFU about anything related to Tennessee.

yes he left for his dream job. that part I understand and I know he didn't intentionally try to frick Tennessee over. but you can't change the fact that as a direct result of his departure, he did leave Tennessee in shambles. If he has any respect left, he should just keep his mouth shut about Tennessee.

trying to lure our recruits away and telling them not to go to class, trying to set up USC-UT game, and talking about UT on multiple, multiple occasions still pisses me off.

Yeah, we are having all kinds of problems with arrests...Miles is a classless individual without character.........

btw....speaking of thugs getting arrested often.....of course you can't even bring in the most talented thugs...you guys just get the middle of the pack thugs.

kiffin thinks awfully high of himself. just because he says he did a great job at ut doesn't make it so. if he would've stayed, ut would probably be in a world of hurt with the ncaa. the man is a loose cannon and usc will probably find that out the hard way.yes, they have probably the best recruiters in the nation on that staff but, imo, they are shady as hell.

Since Lane Kiffin's arrival in Knoxville, Tennessee's record on the field has been 18-20. Yeah...he really laid the foundation for success there.

More Fulmer's fault than Kiffin's but both are responsible for our recent struggles

He definitely laid a foundation...as far as doing something "special"...I guess "special" is in the eyes of the beholder.

what's sad is that these tenn posters think he is some kind of great coach or something and if he had stayed they would be winning now. I know that most of these tenn posters are kids and don't yet have a lot of wisdom or see the big picture, but there are actually a few older fans from tenn that feel the same way. Notice I didn't say older intelligent fans. Fact is, everywhere kiffin has gone, he has left on bad terms.....all he did at tenn was go out and get the biggest thugs on the block....while highly talented....you don't see many of those that actually ended up benefitting tenn......bama and lsu does have some thugs...but mostly they have highly talented kids with pretty good intelligence. I saw the other day where every player miles signed in 2005 or 2006 (can't remember) ended up getting their 4 year degree, and won a NC. That's pretty strong there on the graduation part.
