Honestly, I have been advocating for a while that we shouldn't have had to play a National Title game. Our body of work during the season and had have already beaten the BCS #2 team in the country was enough to say frick it, give us the title, we have nothing to prove.

LSU sucked in 2010. the cotton bowl erased all the embarrassing memories of meltdowns from that season. The upset of Bama was the superbowl win.

Capital one paid more than the cotton bowl. LSU hasn't won a BCS bowl in a while now. 07 seems to be a distant memory. That 2 loss crystal is collecting dust.
